My genius brother has managed to get one of those gargantuan zip-ties around his waist as a belt... now he can't get it off.

I'm amused by this, but at the same time I feel bad for him. I explained to him how to get it off, hopefully he'll figure it out.

Can't he just cut it?

If my sister did that, I'd take pictures and threaten to show it to her friends to ward off any future bouts of idiocy.

hahaha, that is funny, but not. I can picture him trying to get it off, but tightening it in the process. those things suck when they get too tight and the only way to get it off is to cut it.
